Dumpling Filling

Method

Dumpling Assembly and Cooking

1

Prepare the Filling

In a bowl, combine the finely chopped Wagyu beef, trimmed enoki mushrooms, chopped scallions, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.

2

Prepare the Dumpling Wrappers

If using store-bought dumpling wrappers, ensure they are thawed and ready. If making homemade, roll out the dough into thin circles.

3

Fill the Dumplings

Place a small spoonful of the filling mixture in the center of each dumpling wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper in half, and pinch to seal, ensuring there are no air pockets.

4

Cook the Dumplings

In a steamer, arrange the dumplings in a single layer and steam for about 8-10 minutes or until the filling is cooked through and the wrapper is translucent. Alternatively, pan-fry them for a crispy bottom.

5

Serve with Sauce

Serve the dumplings hot with a sweet and spicy sauce on the side for dipping.
