Method

Ham Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Glaze

In a bowl, combine honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, ground cloves, and ground black pepper. Mix well until smooth.

  2. 2

    Glaze the Ham

Preheat your oak-fired grill or oven to 325°F (163°C). Place the spiral ham in a roasting pan and brush generously with the honey mustard glaze. Reserve some glaze for later.

  3. 3

    Bake the Ham

Cover the ham loosely with foil and bake for about 1.5 to 2 hours, basting every 30 minutes with the reserved glaze, until heated through.

Mashed Potatoes Preparation

  1. 4

    Boil the Potatoes

Peel and chop the russet potatoes into equal pieces. Boil in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 5

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add crème fraîche, butter, salt, and pepper. Mash until desired consistency is reached.

Green Beans Preparation

  1. 6

    Sauté the Green Beans

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the French green beans, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender but still crisp.
