    Prepare the Oats

    In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil. Stir in the steel-cut oats and salt. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are tender.

    Add Milk and Flavor

    Once the oats are cooked to your desired consistency, stir in the milk and honey. If using, add cinnamon for extra flavor. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.

    Spoon the creamy oats into bowls and top with fresh berries. Drizzle with additional honey if desired.
