Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Divide the beef into two equal portions and shape them into patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip and top each patty with a slice of cheddar cheese. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the patties reach your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Buns

While the patties are cooking, slice the burger buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in a toaster.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun. Place the cooked patty on top, followed by a slice of Roquefort and Emmentaler cheese, lettuce leaves, and slices of red onion. Top with the other half of the bun.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the cheeseburgers hot with hand-cut fries on the side.
