Shrimp Preparation

1

Boil the Shrimp

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add the sliced lemon, Old Bay seasoning, and salt.

2

Cook the Shrimp

Once the water is boiling, add the shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

3

Cool the Shrimp

Remove the shrimp from the pot and place them in an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Allow them to cool for about 5 minutes.

4

Drain and Chill

Once cooled, drain the shrimp and place them on a platter. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Cocktail Sauce Preparation

5

Mix the Sauce

In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of ketchup, 2 tablespoons of horseradish, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, and 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce.

6

Adjust Flavor

Add Tabasco sauce to taste, mixing thoroughly until well blended.

7

Serve

Transfer the cocktail sauce into individual cups for easy dipping and serve alongside the chilled shrimp.
