Prepare the Fish
Season the whitefish fillets with salt, black pepper, and Cajun spice if desired. You can choose to grill, blacken, or fry the fish.

Cooking Options
For grilling: Preheat the grill to medium heat, brush the fillets with olive oil, and grill for about 4-5 minutes per side or until cooked through. For frying: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and fry the fillets for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. For blackening: Preheat a cast-iron skillet until very hot, add a little oil, and cook the seasoned fish for about 2-3 minutes per side.

Once the fish is cooked, place a piece on the bottom half of each fresh bun. Top with a slice of cheese, a lettuce leaf, and a generous dollop of tartar sauce. Place the top half of the bun on each samwich.
