Preparation Instructions

1

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2

Prepare the Fruit

In a large bowl, combine the blueberries and sliced peaches. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup of granulated sugar and toss gently. Set aside to macerate for about 15 minutes.

3

Make the Batter

In another bowl, whisk together the flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt. Slowly stir in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until just combined.

4

Assemble the Cobbler

Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spoon the macerated fruit evenly over the batter.

5

Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the batter comes out clean.

6

Cool and Serve

Let the cobbler cool for about 10-15 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm with a scoop of ice cream if desired!
