Ingredients for Kuntry-Fried Steak Samwich

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

In a shallow bowl, mix buttermilk, eggs, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Soak the beef cube steaks in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Dredge the Steak

In another shallow dish, add the all-purpose flour. Remove the steaks from the buttermilk mixture and dredge each steak in the flour, ensuring they are well coated.

  3. 3

    Fry the Steak

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Samwich

Spread mayonnaise on the inside of each hamburger bun. Place a piece of fried steak on the bottom bun, top with lettuce and tomato slices, and drizzle with hot sauce. Close the bun with the top half.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the Kuntry-Fried Steak Samwich immediately and enjoy!
