Kuntry-Fried Steak Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. In another bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, salt, and black pepper. Dip each piece of cube steak first in the egg mixture, then dredge in the flour mixture, ensuring an even coating.

  2. 2

    Fry the Steak

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully place the coated steak into the skillet. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Samwich

Slice the large tomato and prepare the lettuce. Spread mayonnaise on the inside of each bun. Place a fried steak on the bottom half of each bun, add lettuce and tomato slices, and drizzle with hot sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.

  4. 4

    Serve

Serve the Kuntry-Fried Steak Samwich warm with your favorite sides.
