Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patty

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground USDA chuck steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined, then form into one large patty approximately 1-inch thick.

  2. 2

    Cook the Burger

Preheat a grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burger patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, or until your desired level of doneness is reached.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Toppings

While the burger is cooking, wash and prepare the lettuce and slice the tomato into thick slices.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

Once the burger is cooked, place it on the bottom half of the burger bun. Spread mayonnaise on the top half of the bun. Layer the lettuce and tomato on top of the burger, then close the burger with the top bun.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the Half-Pound PoChuck Burger immediately with your choice of sides.
