Directions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Flatten the boneless chicken breasts to an even thickness using a meat mallet or rolling pin.
- 2
Set Up Breading Station
In three separate shallow dishes, place flour in the first, beaten eggs in the second, and breadcrumbs mixed with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in the third.
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Coat each chicken breast in the flour, dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture until fully covered.
- 4
Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry the breaded chicken breasts for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- 5
Assemble the Samwich
Toast the burger buns if desired. Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun, add a lettuce leaf, a slice of tomato, and then place the fried chicken breast on top. Finish with the top half of the bun.
