Season the Pork
In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub this spice mixture all over the pork shoulder.

Slow Cook the Pork
Place the seasoned pork shoulder in a slow cooker. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the meat is tender and can be easily shredded with a fork.
Prepare the Sauce
- 3
Mix the BBQ Sauce
In a medium bowl, combine the BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until well mixed.
Assemble the Sandwich
- 4
Shred the Pork
Once the pork is cooked, remove it from the slow cooker and let it rest for a few minutes. Use two forks to shred the pork into bite-sized pieces.
- 5
Combine with Sauce
Mix the shredded pork with the prepared BBQ sauce until well coated.
- 6
Serve on Buns
Spoon the pulled pork mixture onto the hamburger buns. Top with coleslaw and pickles if desired.
