Preparing the Wings

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Prepare the Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

Season the Wings
In a large bowl, combine the salt, black pepper, and baking powder. Toss the wings in the seasoning mixture until evenly coated.

Arrange on Baking Sheet
Place the seasoned wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
Cooking the Wings

Bake the Wings
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
Making the BBQ Sauce

Combine Ingredients
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and hot sauce.

Simmer the Sauce
Bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring occasionally. Let it cook for about 10-15 minutes until it thickens slightly.
Tossing and Serving

Toss Wings in BBQ Sauce
Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the BBQ sauce over the wings and toss until they are well coated.

Transfer the BBQ wings to a serving platter and enjoy them hot.
