Preparation of Fruits

Slice the fruits
Wash and slice the orange, lemon, and lime into thin rounds. Hull and slice the strawberries. Cut the pineapple into small chunks.
Mixing the Sangria

Sweeten the mixture
Add the brown sugar, cinnamon, and black pepper to the pitcher. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and all ingredients are well mixed.
Chilling and Serving

Chill
Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to let the flavors meld together.

Add sparkling water
Just before serving, add sparkling water to the pitcher and stir gently to combine.

Serve
Pour the BBQ sangria into glasses filled with ice and garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves.
