Method

Preparing the Meats

  1. 1

    Marinate the Chicken Thighs

In a bowl, combine chicken thighs with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix thoroughly to coat the chicken. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Pork Ribs

Rub the pork ribs with olive oil and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Let sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes.

Cooking the Meats

  1. 3

    Cook the Chicken Thighs

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it on the grill. Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked and golden brown. Use a meat thermometer to ensure an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

  2. 4

    Cook the Pork Ribs

Place the seasoned pork ribs on a preheated grill or in an oven at 300°F (150°C). Cook for about 2.5 to 3 hours, turning occasionally, until the meat is tender and pulls away from the bone.

Preparing the Sides

  1. 5

    Fry the Fries

Cook the fries according to package instructions or by deep-frying in hot oil until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels and season with salt.

  2. 6

    Bake the Cornbread

Prepare cornbread according to package instructions. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for approximately 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

  3. 7

    Make the Mac-n-Cheese

Cook macaroni according to package instructions. In a separate pot, melt butter, add flour to make a roux, then add milk and cheese until melted and creamy. Combine with the macaroni and serve warm.

  4. 8

    Prepare the Cole Slaw

In a bowl, mix shredded cabbage and carrots. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Pour over the cabbage mixture and toss to coat.

  5. 9

    Assemble the Green Salad

In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, and any additional desired toppings. Drizzle with olive oil and vinegar, and toss to combine.
