Dumplings
Method
Preparation and Cooking
Prepare the Filling
In a large bowl, combine the minced shrimp, minced chicken, chopped Napa cabbage, chopped chives, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Assemble the Dumplings
Take a dumpling wrapper and place a teaspoon of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it in half, and pinch the edges to seal. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
Cook the Dumplings
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Carefully add the dumplings and cook for about 5-7 minutes or until they float to the surface and are cooked through. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.
