Method

Crust Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Crust

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Crust

Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from oven and let cool.

Filling Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare the Filling

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add the sugar and mix until combined.

  2. 4

    Add Remaining Ingredients

Add sour cream, vanilla extract, and eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Ensure the mixture is smooth and creamy.

  3. 5

    Bake the Cheesecake

Pour the filling over the cooled crust. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set and slightly jiggles when shaken.

  4. 6

    Cool the Cheesecake

Turn off the oven, crack the door, and let the cheesecake cool in the oven for 1 hour. Then refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve with Sauce

Slice the cheesecake and serve with a drizzle of chocolate or raspberry sauce on top.
