Directions
Prepare the Ingredients
Gather all the ingredients and prepare them as instructed.
Cook the Beef
In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef sirloin and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Sauté Vegetables
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic and chopped onion, and sauté until fragrant and translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
Add Carrots and Peas
Stir in the diced carrots and frozen peas. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
Combine Everything
Add the cooked jasmine rice and the beef back into the skillet. Pour the soy sauce over the top, and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir everything together until well combined and heated through, about 5 minutes.
Garnish and Serve
Remove from heat, sprinkle with sliced green onions, and serve hot.
