Method
Preparation
Prepare the Vegetables
Dice the tomatoes, slice the green onions, black olives, and jalapeños. Shred the lettuce and set aside.
Assembly
Layer the Base
On a large oven-safe platter or baking sheet, spread out the tortilla chips evenly to create a base for the nachos.
Add Queso
Drizzle the queso cheese sauce generously over the tortilla chips, ensuring they are well covered.
Add Shredded Cheese
Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the top of the nachos, allowing for a gooey, melty layer.
Top with Vegetables
Evenly distribute the diced tomatoes, sliced green onions, black olives, shredded lettuce, and jalapeños over the nachos.
Add Protein (if using)
If you are adding chicken or steak, sprinkle it on top of the nachos now.
Baking
Bake the Nachos
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Place the assembled nachos in the oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serving
Serve Hot
Remove the nachos from the oven and let them cool for a minute. Serve hot with additional toppings or sauces as desired.
