Preparation Steps
Make the Scotch Bonnet Crema
In a small bowl, mix sour cream with minced Scotch bonnet pepper. Adjust the quantity of the pepper to taste. Set aside.
Blacken the Mahi-Mahi
Rub Mahi-Mahi fillets with olive oil and then coat them with blackening seasoning. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the fillets for about 3-4 minutes on each side until blackened and cooked through.
Warm the Tortillas
In a dry skillet, warm the flour tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until soft and pliable.
Assemble the Tacos
Place a piece of blackened Mahi-Mahi in each tortilla, top with purple cabbage slaw, and drizzle with Scotch bonnet crema. Serve immediately.
