Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Brisket
Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). In a bowl, mix smoked paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt to create a dry rub. Apply the rub evenly over the beef brisket, covering all sides.
- 2
Add Liquid Smoke
Drizzle liquid smoke over the rubbed brisket to enhance the smoky flavor.
- 3
Smoke the Brisket
Place the brisket in the smoker and cook for about 1 hour per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 195°F (90°C) for tender slices. Baste with beef broth every hour to keep it moist.
- 4
Rest and Slice
Once cooked, remove the brisket from the smoker and let it rest for at least 30 minutes. Slice against the grain for serving.
