Directions

  1. 1

    Bake the Potato

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Wash the Idaho potato thoroughly and pierce it with a fork several times. Bake it in the preheated oven for about 45-60 minutes or until tender.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Toppings

While the potato is baking, prepare the toppings. Sauté the mushrooms in a pan with a little butter until golden. Steam or boil the broccoli florets until tender. Cook and crumble the bacon.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Loaded Potato

Once the potato is cooked, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly. Cut it open lengthwise and fluff the insides with a fork. Add butter, sour cream, sautéed mushrooms, steamed broccoli, shredded cheddar cheese, and crumbled bacon on top. Drizzle with ranch dressing.

  4. 4

    Add Optional Meat

If desired, add any cooked meat of your choice (2 oz) on top of the loaded potato.
