Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Patty
In a bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined. Form the mixture into a patty about 3/4 inch thick.
- 2
Charbroil the Patty
Preheat your grill or stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the patty for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium doneness. If using cheese, add it during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- 3
Prepare the Bun
While the patty is cooking, you can toast the hamburger bun on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
- 4
Assemble the Burger
Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of the bun. Place the cooked patty on top, followed by lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
- 5

Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes.
