Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Oysters

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Carefully shuck the oysters and place them on a baking sheet. Reserve the top shells for later use.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels. Once cooled, crumble the bacon into small pieces.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add butter, garlic, and shallots. Sauté until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Add the chopped spinach and cook until wilted.

  4. 4

    Combine the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine the sautéed mixture, crawfish, lump crab, crumbled bacon, Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well.

  5. 5

    Fill the Oysters

Spoon the mixture generously onto each oyster. If using reserved shells, place the filled oysters back into the shells.

  6. 6

    Bake the Oysters

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the topping is golden and bubbly.

  7. 7

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your Baked Oysters Rockefeller!
