Prepare the Marinade
In a small bowl, mix together honey, miso paste, soy sauce, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Marinate the Salmon
Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Heat the Pan
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.

Sear the Salmon
Remove the salmon from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Place the salmon fillets in the hot skillet and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and caramelized.

Serve
Remove the salmon from the skillet and serve with a drizzle of teriyaki sauce on top.
