Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fish

Season the Opakapaka fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Peppers

Slice the red and yellow bell peppers into strips. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté the peppers until they are tender, about 5-7 minutes.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Cook the Fish

In the same pan, add the seasoned Opakapaka fillets and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  2. 4

    Add the Sauce

Pour the Asian sweet chili sauce over the cooked fish and let it simmer for another 2 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Serving

  1. 5

    Plate and Garnish

Serve the Opakapaka on a plate, topped with sautéed bell peppers and garnished with fresh cilantro.
