Prepare Marinara Sauce
While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until warmed through.
- 6
Toast Hoagie Buns
Slice the hoagie buns lengthwise and toast them in the oven for 5-7 minutes until lightly golden.
- 7
Assemble Sandwiches
Once the meatballs are done, place 3-4 meatballs in each toasted hoagie bun, spoon marinara sauce over the meatballs, and sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
- 8
Melt Cheese
Return the assembled sandwiches to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 9
Serve
Remove from the oven, let cool for a minute, then serve warm.
