Preparation of Salad Base

Prepare the Romaine Lettuce
Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water. Shake off excess water and dry with a salad spinner or paper towels. Cut the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place in a large salad bowl.

Add Croutons and Parmesan
Sprinkle the croutons evenly over the chopped romaine lettuce. Grate the Parmesan cheese and add it on top of the croutons.

Make the Dressing
In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until smooth and well combined.
Assembly

Combine Salad and Dressing
Pour the prepared Caesar dressing over the salad base in the bowl. Toss gently until the lettuce, croutons, and Parmesan are well coated with the dressing.

Serve
Serve the Caesar salad immediately. Optionally, you can add extra Parmesan cheese and freshly cracked black pepper on top before serving.
