- 4
Heat Olive Oil
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and heat until shimmering.
- 5
- 6
Add Clams and Wine
Pour in the canned clams (with juice) and white wine. Bring to a simmer and let cook for about 5 minutes.
- 7
Season the Sauce
Stir in the red pepper flakes, black pepper, and half of the chopped parsley. Let simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
Combining Pasta and Sauce
- 8
Combine Linguini with Sauce
Add the drained linguini to the skillet with the clam sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly.

Serve
Plate the linguini and top with remaining chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
Optional Red Clam Sauce Variation
- 11
Add Tomato Sauce
If using red clam sauce, stir in the tomato sauce and Italian seasoning to the clam mixture after simmering for 5 minutes.
- 12
Simmer
Let the mixture simmer for an additional 5 minutes before combining with linguini.
