Salmon

Method

Prepare the Salmon

  1. 1

    Season the Salmon

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Rub the cajun seasoning evenly over both sides of the salmon fillets.

  2. 2

    Cook the Salmon

Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned salmon fillets. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is cooked through and has a blackened crust. Remove from the skillet and set aside to cool.

Prepare the Salad

  1. 3

    Chop Vegetables

While the salmon is cooking, wash and chop the mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and avocado. Place the chopped vegetables in a large bowl.

  2. 4

    Toss the Salad

Gently toss the mixed greens and chopped vegetables together until well combined.

Make the Dressing

  1. 5

    Combine Dressing Ingredients

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, honey, salt, and black pepper until well blended.

Assemble the Salad

  1. 6

    Combine Everything

Once the salmon has cooled slightly, flake it into large pieces. Add the flaked salmon to the salad bowl and drizzle the dressing over the top. Toss gently to combine.

  2. 7

    Serve

Divide the salad into bowls or plates and serve immediately. Enjoy your delicious blackened salmon salad!
