Directions
- 1
Prepare the Black Garlic Glaze
In a medium mixing bowl, mash the black garlic cloves using a fork until they form a paste. Add honey, soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to the mashed black garlic. Mix well until all ingredients are combined into a smooth glaze.
- 2
Marinate the Halibut
Place the halibut fillets in a shallow dish and pour half of the black garlic glaze over the fillets. Ensure that the fillets are evenly coated. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- 3
Preheat the Oven
While the fish is marinating, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This allows the halibut to cook evenly.
- 4
Bake the Halibut
After marinating, place the halibut fillets on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Drizzle with the remaining black garlic glaze. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the halibut is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
