1. Prepare the Soft Boiled Eggs
In a pot, bring water to a boil. Carefully add the eggs and boil for 6-7 minutes. Remove from heat and transfer to an ice bath for a few minutes before peeling.
2. Prepare the Caper Aioli
In a bowl, mix the caper aioli with a pinch of salt and pepper. Adjust to taste.
3. Assemble the Panino
On one slice of Turano bread, spread a layer of caper aioli. Layer the Sicilian tuna, marinated artichokes, romaine lettuce, and finally the soft boiled eggs, sliced in half. Top with the second slice of bread.
4. Toast the Panino
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Place the assembled panino in the skillet and toast until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
5. Serve
Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.
