Bread Pudding

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bread

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the cubed brioche bread in a large mixing bowl.

  2. 2

    Make the Custard Mixture

In another bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, milk, heavy cream, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, pumpkin spice, and salt until well combined.

  3. 3

    Combine and Soak

Pour the custard mixture over the cubed brioche bread. Gently fold the bread into the mixture until all pieces are well-coated. Let it sit for about 15 minutes to soak up the mixture.

  4. 4

    Bake

Transfer the bread mixture into a greased baking dish. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm, topped with caramel sauce, whipped cream, and toasted pecans.
