Meatballs and Assembly

Method

Preparation and Assembly

1

Make the Meatballs

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

2

Shape the Meatballs

Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

3

Bake the Meatballs

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the meatballs for about 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and browned.

4

Prepare the Rolls

While the meatballs are baking, slice the submarine rolls in half and lightly toast them if desired.

5

Assemble the Bombers

Once the meatballs are done, place 3-4 meatballs on the bottom half of each roll. Top with marinara sauce and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.

6

Melt the Cheese

Place the assembled bombers back in the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

7

Serve

Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
