Scotch Eggs Directions
- 1
Boil the Eggs
Place the large eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold water. Bring to a boil over medium heat and then reduce to a simmer for 9-10 minutes for hard-boiled eggs. Once done, place the eggs in an ice bath to cool down and then peel them.

Prepare the Sausage Mixture
In a mixing bowl, combine the pork sausage meat, salt, black pepper, dried thyme, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix thoroughly until well combined.

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the breaded Scotch eggs. Fry until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking. Remove and drain on paper towels.
