1. Prepare the Chickpeas
Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas under cold water.
2. Blend Ingredients
In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, garlic cloves, lemon juice, olive oil, ground cumin, salt, and water.
3. Process Until Smooth
Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If the hummus is too thick, add more water, one tablespoon at a time.
4. Taste and Adjust
Taste the hummus and adjust the seasoning with more salt or lemon juice if needed.
5. Serve
Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with paprika, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
