Toast the Bread
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the slices of sourdough bread on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

Blend Cream Cheese
In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, heavy cream, fresh dill, lemon juice, and salt. Using a hand mixer or a stand mixer, beat the mixture until it becomes light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
Assembling the Tartine

Spread Cream Cheese Mousse
Once the sourdough bread is toasted and slightly cooled, generously spread the cream cheese mousse over each slice.

Layer the smoked salmon evenly over the cream cheese mousse. Slice the heirloom tomato and arrange it on top. Add a few spoonfuls of pickled red onion and sprinkle capers over each tartine.
