Method

Cheese Mixture Preparation

  1. 1

    Grate the Cheddar Cheese

Using a box grater or food processor, grate 2 cups of sharp cheddar cheese and set aside.

  2. 2

    Soften the Cream Cheese

Take 8 oz of cream cheese out of the fridge and let it sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes until soft.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, grated cheddar cheese, 1 cup of mayonnaise, 1 jar of drained pimentos, 1 tsp of garlic powder, 1 tsp of onion powder, 1 tsp of cayenne pepper, 0.5 tsp of salt, and 0.5 tsp of black pepper.

  4. 4

    Mix Well

Using a spatula or a mixer, blend all the ingredients together until well combined and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.

Serving Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare Lavash

Lay out 4 sheets of lavash bread on a clean surface or platter.

  2. 6

    Spread Pimento Cheese

Spoon a generous amount of the pimento cheese mixture onto each sheet of lavash and spread it evenly, leaving a small border around the edge.

  3. 7

    Roll Up Lavash

Starting at one end, carefully roll each sheet of lavash tightly around the cheese mixture to form a wrap.

  4. 8

    Slice and Serve

Slice each rolled lavash into pinwheels or halves and serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
