Prepare the Egg Mixture
In a bowl, whisk together the large eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until well combined and slightly frothy.

Cook the Omelette
In a non-stick skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, pour the egg mixture into the skillet. Allow it to cook undisturbed for about 2-3 minutes until the edges begin to set.

Add Fillings
If using, sprinkle the shredded cheese and chopped vegetables over one half of the omelette. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese melts and the eggs are fully set.

Fold and Serve
Carefully fold the omelette in half and slide it onto a plate. Serve warm.
