Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Marinade

In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, chopped dill, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring it is evenly coated. Cover the dish or seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 450°F / 190°C to 230°C). Make sure the grill grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.

  2. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and discard the leftover marinade. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 4 to 6 minutes per side, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  3. 5

    Serve

Once cooked, carefully remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve immediately with your choice of side dishes.
