Method
For the Chicken Wings
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 2
Prepare the Chicken Wings
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.
- 3
Bake the Wings
Spread the wings out in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until crispy and golden brown, flipping halfway through.
- 4
Toss with Hot Sauce
Remove the wings from the oven and transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the hot sauce over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
For the Blue Cheese Dressing
- 5
Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, blue cheese, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- 6
Mix Until Smooth
Using a whisk or a fork, mix the ingredients until smooth and well blended.
- 7
Taste and Adjust Seasoning
Taste the dressing and adjust the seasoning with more salt and pepper, if desired.
- 8
Refrigerate
Cover the dressing and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
