Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Start by slicing the boneless chicken breast into thin strips. Slice the mushrooms, onion, and red bell pepper. Mince the garlic and chop the green onions.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Sauté the Chicken

In a large skillet or wok, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the chicken strips and season with salt and black pepper. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 3

    Cook the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sliced onions. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant and onions are translucent.

  3. 4

    Add Mushrooms and Sauces

Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for another 3-4 minutes until they are tender. Stir in the soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce, mixing well.

  4. 5

    Combine and Finish

Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and mix well with the vegetables and sauces. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together. Adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.

Serving

  1. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Transfer the Chicken Salpicao to a serving platter. Garnish with sliced green onions and red bell pepper. Serve hot with steamed rice.
