Marinate the Chicken

In a large mixing bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.

Add the boneless chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight for best results.

Cook the Chicken
Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook for 10-12 minutes until the chicken is browned and cooked through.

Add Tomato Puree
Pour in the tomato puree and stir well to combine. Let it cook for another 5 minutes.

Incorporate Cream and Spices
Lower the heat and add heavy cream, cumin seeds, coriander powder, fenugreek leaves, sugar, and salt. Stir to combine and simmer for 10 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.

In a pot, bring 400 ml of water to a boil. Add the basmati rice and a pinch of salt. Cover and reduce heat to low. Cook for 15 minutes, or until rice is tender and water is absorbed.
