Add Eggs
Incorporate eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition until the dough is smooth.
Heat Oil
Heat canola oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
Fry Churros
Transfer the dough into a piping bag fitted with a star tip. Pipe 4-inch strips into the hot oil, frying until golden brown on all sides. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Coat in Sugar
Mix granulated sugar with cinnamon in a bowl and roll the churros in the mixture.
Prepare Chocolate Sauce
In a small saucepan, heat heavy cream until just simmering. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips, stirring until melted and smooth.
Tarta de Queso
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
Make Filling
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add vanilla and eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Finally, mix in sour cream.
Bake
Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan. Bake for about 55-60 minutes or until the center is set and slightly jiggly.
Cool
Let the cheesecake cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight before serving.
Tres Leches
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare Cake Batter
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, beat eggs and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually add flour mixture to the egg mixture until just combined.
Bake Cake
Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Soak Cake
Once the cake has cooled, poke holes all over the surface and pour the milk mixture evenly over the cake. Allow it to soak for at least 1 hour.
Prepare Topping
Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Spread it over the soaked cake and sprinkle with cinnamon before serving.
