Method

Burger Patty Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Mixture

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, ensuring they are slightly larger than the burger buns to account for shrinkage during cooking.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness. If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the burger buns lightly, then place a cooked patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with lettuce, tomato slices, ketchup, and mustard. Cover with the top half of the bun.

Fries Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips to form fries. Rinse the cut fries in cold water to remove excess starch, then pat them dry with a kitchen towel.

  2. 6

    Heat the Oil

In a deep pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches about 180°C (350°F).

  3. 7

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the fries to the hot oil in batches, frying them for about 4-5 minutes or until they turn golden brown and crispy. Remove them with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

  4. 8

    Season the Fries

While the fries are still hot, sprinkle with salt to taste and toss to coat evenly.
