Method
Cooking Directions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Rinse the boneless chicken tenderloins under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
- 2
Make the Batter
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- 3
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan or pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 5
Coat the Chicken
Dip each chicken tenderloin first into the egg mixture, letting the excess drip off, then coat it in the flour mixture. Make sure it is well covered.
- 6
Fry the Chicken
Carefully place the coated chicken strips in the hot oil, frying in batches to avoid overcrowding. Fry for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- 7
Drain and Serve
Remove the chicken strips from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve warm.
