Hot Hamburger Sandwich Ingredients

Hot Hamburger Sandwich Directions

1

Prepare the Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chuck, salt, black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Mix until just combined and form into 4 equal-sized patties.

2

Cook the Patties

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until fully cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside.

3

Make the Gravy

In the same skillet, sprinkle flour over the drippings and whisk for 1-2 minutes until golden brown. Gradually add beef broth while whisking to avoid lumps. Add Worcestershire sauce, and simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes.

4

Toast the Buns

In a separate pan, melt butter over medium heat. Lightly toast the hamburger buns until golden brown.

5

Assemble the Sandwiches

Place a cooked patty on the bottom half of each bun, spoon generous amounts of gravy over the patty, and add pickles if desired. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
