Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Patties
In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Form into 4 equal patties.
- 2
Grill the Patties
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- 3
Add Corned Beef and Cheese
During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of corned beef on each patty followed by a slice of Swiss cheese. Close the grill lid to melt the cheese.
- 4
Toast the Buns
Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- 5
Assemble the Burger
Spread 1 tablespoon of 1000 Island dressing on the bottom half of each bun. Place a lettuce leaf on top, then the patty with corned beef and cheese, followed by a scoop of sauerkraut. Add tomato slices and the top half of the bun.
- 6
Serve
Serve immediately with extra 1000 Island dressing on the side if desired.
