Juicing the Lemons
Roll the lemons on a countertop to soften them, then cut them in half and juice them into a measuring cup. You should have about 1 cup of lemon juice.

In a pitcher, combine the granulated sugar with 1 cup of warm water. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.

Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and the remaining 3 cups of cold water to the pitcher. Stir well to combine.
