Candied Bacon Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Candied Bacon
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, lay out the thick-cut bacon slices. In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and maple syrup together until well combined. Brush the mixture over the bacon slices.
- 2
Bake the Bacon
Bake the bacon in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until crispy and caramelized. Keep an eye on it to prevent burning. Once done, remove from the oven and let cool on a paper towel.

Prepare the Texas Toast
In a skillet or frying pan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Once melted, add two slices of Texas toast to the pan and toast each side until golden brown. Repeat with the remaining butter and toast.
